(1) - General TWD Canon Setting
There may not be any snow on the ground, but it doesn't really improve his mood much. It's too damn cold. Granted, anything below sixty degrees is too cold for him- the point still remains as he makes his way down the road, head swiveling from one direction to the other. He's long gotten used to being blind in the one eye and making up for it; the movements are unconscious and automatic now, making sure he can always get a glimpse of what's on his left side every few seconds.
Watching him do it might be a little tiring. It seems so unnecessary to do it so often but he has a beat and a rhythm: it matches his step. And honestly? He wants to get some miles behind him after almost stumbling right into the path of a whole goddamn herd. He was lucky - he always is - that he went unnoticed by them and hung low until it passed, settled down in a ditch for an hour or two before slinking behind the last few scragglers and going in just about the opposite direction they were headed in.
Sure, it's been a few hours since the near miss, but he's still flush with adrenaline and an edge of paranoia. And there's the fact he had no intention of stopping his relatively aimless walking until nightfall, anyway.
(2) - this one is up to you. game settings? an idea you have and wanna do? some wild sad au shit? hell ya.
(oh god i'm so rusty forgive me.)
